A peek inside …

For 10 years, Alex Herbert has been perfecting the ski making process he developed himself, back in the days when there were only a handful “boutique ski manufactures” around the world. More than 20 years of fixing skis has given Alex a great insight into ski construction – what works and what breaks – and he is uncompromising about the materials and processes he uses. It helps that he’s got the hands of a surgeon and temperament of a perfectionist – and that each pair is made with a specific customer in mind so that small adjustments can be made to fit with that person’s size and skiing style.
